Brian A. Montgomery, O.D.

Dr. Brian A. Montgomery has been a life long resident of southern Ohio. Brian is a 1987 graduate of Portsmouth Clay High School. He Attended The Ohio State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters Degree in Physiological Optics and a Doctor of Optometry degree. While at the Ohio State University, Brian received several awards and recognition's to include The Vincent J> Ellerbrock Memorial Award for achievement in vision research. He was also inducted into the optometry honor society, Beta Sigma Kappa, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Dr. Montgomery was discharged from the United States Army June 1999 after twelve years of honorable service. While in the Army Brian had the privilege of serving in several positions to include the Chief of Optical Fabrication for the 18th Airborne Corps, the Assistant Chief of Optometry at Womack Army Medical Center, and the Chief of Optometry for the 67th Combat Support Hospital Wuerzburg Germany. While in the army Dr. Montgomery earned over 14 medals and citations to include th Joint Meritorious Unit Citation, The Meritorious Service Medial, and the Humanitarian Service Medical.

Dr. Montgomery has also served as an assistant Clinical Professor for both the University of Houston College of Optometry and the Southern College of Optometry.

Brian currently practices in Waverly, Ohio at the Family Vision Care of Waverley. Brian resides in Lucasville with his wife Traci and their three children: Elysia, Tyson, and Emily.
