The
Wilmington location was acquired in 2003. This facility can diagnose and treat
a wide variety of ocular conditions using technologically advanced equipment
such as a Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer and GDx nerve fiber layer analyzer
(both for glaucoma), Flourescein angiogram, (for diabetic retinopathy and macular
degeneration). It also has a solid state Argon laser (for the treatment of glaucoma,
diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration).
The Wilmington
location also has an A-Scan unit and Keratometer to facilitate precise measurements
for cataract surgery.
